Fall Recovery and In Home Movement Assistance

Falls can be very soft, however a fall can sometimes lead to injuries or a rapid onset of medical problems. Handling a fall can be very difficult problem to recover from, if done quickly, a fall recovery crew can assist a loved one to a safe position and reduce injuries from happening. Our dedication to patient care and safety, guide us in all of our actions. Before moving any patient, MEDIX staff ensure that they are medically sable and not in need of emergency care. If the need is present MEDIX will notify a provincial ambulance immediately.

MEDIX staff are also available to provide assistance for Bed Transfers, Room Moves, including any movements needing specialized equipment and training.

· Regularly in contact with our central dispatch to ensure patient care is not delayed,

· Fully stocked vehicles to provide any needed critical interventions,

· Caring, committed medical staff, trained and educated in many types of medical problems,

· Training in lifting and moving patients with specific and special medical issues,

· Specialized equipment to assist in a comfortable and safe movements,

· Rapid Response to minimize patient injury or illness.

Stair Chairs used to aide medics  moving people up and down stairs, or in tight corridors without causing discomfort to the patient.
